Friction Material
Friction Material
Magnesium Oxide is an important component in friction material formulations, typically added to allows the adjustment of the friction coefficient to a desirable level. The thermal properties of Magnesium Oxide offer good stability and allow adequately conducting heat from the friction contact surfaces. Due to its high-level refractoriness, it can help impart a strong resistance to the high frictional temperatures while preserving the grip properties. Meanwhile, its moderate hardness imparts sufficiently low wear on metal.
Based on these properties, Magnesium Oxide is deeply used in the friction material industry such as brake linings and brake pads. Magnesium Oxide is also used as a binder in grinding wheels.
Through the use of high-quality raw materials and the application of a high level of production management, IMC provides customers with high-grade CCM/DBM/FM products, ensuring high quality and consistency in the final friction products.
